CRED Foundation
The CRED Foundation – Romanian-Swiss Centre for Health Sector Development have been founded in February 2004 by the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) Basel [link] , through one of its service departments, the Swiss Centre for International Health (SCIH) [link]. CRED Foundation is a Romanian juridical person, of private law, without patrimonial scope, being non-profit, non-political and non-governmental.
The mission of CRED is to support the reform and modernization of the health sector in Romania.
Its experience accumulated in the last years combining the expertise of the external consultants creates favorable conditions for transforming ideas and concepts into implemented projects.
The main instrument of work is the Project, considered as the result of merging project management components and technical expertise elements. Quality Management, human resource development, implementation of new concepts in current practice, Health Technology Management, clinical practice guidelines (CPGs), are just few of the work directions that are constantly reflected into implemented projects of CRED
The first engagement of CRED was the implementation of the Romanian-Swiss Neonatology Project „RoNeonat” [link], in perioada 2004-2007, program prin care s-a contribuit determinant la modernizarea serviciilor de neonatologie existente in sectiile de nou-nascuti din Romania.
